VISION

63rd House is a community space in the Southwest side of Chicago that centers the needs and safety of those living in a hyper policed, working class community, designed by Black and brown youth from Chicago Lawn, Englewood, and Gage Park. We believe that the world that we want is possible and within reach, and that we can practice building it for ourselves today, on our terms. At 63rd House, we hope to de-silo our movements and communities; plant seeds of bottom-up systemic change; and cultivate intergenerational spaces to build, thrive, and imagine.
