Mission and Vision

63rd House is a community-rooted, youth-led space on the Southwest side of Chicago that reimagines safety, healing, and possibility in working-class neighborhoods. Designed and driven by Black and brown residents of Chicago Lawn, Englewood, and Gage Park, we offer arts, STEM, and political education programming; mental health and wellness services; co-working and maker spaces; small business incubation; and a worker-led sewing and design studio. More than a space, we are a movement — cultivating intergenerational connection, practicing bottom-up systemic change, and building the world we deserve on our own terms, together.
